ABOUT

Coorg is a a district located on the western ghats in the South West of Karnataka. It has coffee estates covering its unending undulating landscape. Coorg has some breath taking scenery and offers a different experience each season, its elevation makes the weather enjoyable year round.

Nova Woods is a 5 room homestay  in Coorg, located on a 10 acre coffee estate about 35km from the Madekeri and can be easily accessed by road. Unlike most homestays we let you have the whole place to yourself. We can accommodate around 10-15 people at a time so it's great for a group of friends who want to do a trip together. There is a care taker on the property that can cook tasty home made food for you.

 

The homestay is surrounded by  greenery which lets guests truly appreciate nature, it's locations also ensures that the guests have their privacy so they can relax and unwind leaving the city's hustle and bustle. We help guests plan an ideal trip based on what kind of trip they want to do, apart from this we also arrange activities and transport to select nearby locations.

OUR ROOMS

We have 5 identical rooms, each about 150 Sq ft. Guests have the option of choosing between single and double bed options. Each room comes with an attached toilet.

OUR SERVICES

THE SYSTEM

As a homestay we try to do everything we can to make your stay with us pleasurable. There are a few things that are worth mentioning that might be a little different from your regular hotel or resort stays.

  • Meals:

We provide a complimentary breakfast to our guests, lunch and dinner if required  can be provided at an additional cost or we can also guide you to nearby fine dine restaurants. All meals are cooked onsite and we can do our best to accommodate your preferences.

  • Games:

We love playing games with friends , so we've got a few games guests can play vs each other such as chess,  taboo, monopoly and a few more.

 

  • Day trips:

For all the explorers staying with us, we organize day trips to nearby tourist attractions and treks up Kotebetta, the third highest peak in coorg. Kotebetta has some stunning views from the peak and makes for a great place to watch the sunset. 

  • Bonfire/BBQ:

We can organize a bonfire for our guests at night on request . We do have a BBQ  guests can use free of charge, however guests will have to prepare their own food. 

  • Coffee estate tour:

Since our homestay is located on a 10 acre coffee estate, you can freely walk around and explore the estate, the manager can give you a guided tour of how the plants are grown and how the coffee is picked . If you visit during coffee picking time (Dec-Jan), you can help pick coffee straight off the plant.
